The WA Masters Committee is a committee of Hockey WA composed members elected by Club Masters delegates at the Annual Meeting convened in December of each calendar year.

The WA Masters Committee is charged with representing WA at Hockey Australia for National Masters events and topics, selecting and organising WA Masters State Teams, advising Hockey WA staff on Local Masters Competitions and promoting Masters Hockey in WA.

Structure

The structure of the committee consists of:

• Ten Positions - Each member is elected for a 3 year term by Masters delegates from clubs attending the yearly General Meeting.
• One Chair is appointed by the committee by a ballot at the first meeting of each calendar year.
• Allocation of portfolios of responsibility to committee members is based on qualification and experience
• At the end of a 3 year term the members position becomes available for a new appointment, clubs may nominate suitable individuals 
• Every effort is made to maintain an equal gender ratio within the committee, although at times this may not be the case due to resignations of members and it is not mandatory that an equal gender ratio is in place for the committee to function.
• In the event that a position becomes vacant due to resignation by a member, the committee through the Chair will attempt to fill the position with a casual member until the next General Meeting when the position is available for an elected member.
